Alex Johnson attorney Mike Adams says the former NFL player’s family has “no idea” why his client is not being treated as a priority in the criminal case involving his fatal motorcycle accident.
Johnson was riding a motorcycle near his home on New Year’s Day when a vehicle traveling eastbound on the New Jersey Turnpike smashed into him.
The crash killed Johnson, 24.
Johnson’s family is still seeking answers in the case, which has sparked nationwide protests and criticism of the Trump administration.
Johnson and his family are expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
The trial is expected to last for months.
