L’Italia, La Saline: De La Salvatore Salvatia, who has been a head coach at the La Salina-based club for three years, will coach for the second time in three years at the Brescia-based outfit.
The 42-year-old will take over at the club after a period of six years at Bresci.
Salvatia is expected to retain his position for the next season, and the club’s director of sport, Giovanni Caputo, said that his former coach is excited to be taking charge.
“We’re very happy that Salvatie is coming to the club and excited to take over our football club,” Caputo said.
“He’s had the best relationship with all the players, the staff and with the coaching staff at the clubs.”
Salvagare’s previous two spells in charge included two promotions to the Serie A. He won the Scudetto in 2012 and won the Coppa Italia in 2014, and guided the club to a sixth consecutive Scudetti.
After four seasons as the assistant coach at Milan, he became the head coach in 2014 after taking over at Bologna.
